BACKED operates in compliance with PIPEDA (Canada) and CCPA/CPRA (USA).
Access to BACKED is a privilege, not a right. Users must be verified by three "Backers" within the community. We collect and store these social connections to maintain the integrity of our network.
We collect identifiers (Name, Email) and Reputation Data (Vouches). We do not sell your personal information. Your private messages are encrypted and only accessible to the participants involved.
You have the Right to be Forgotten. You can permanently delete your entire profile, all photos, messages, and vouches through your Settings page at any time. Once deleted, this data is non-recoverable.
Users must be 18+. We have zero tolerance for harassment, fraudulent accounts, or bullying. Any user reported via our internal reporting tool will be investigated and may face an immediate lifetime ban.
